Prof. Jai Shankar Jha

Prof. Jai Shankar Jha has had a distinguished academic career throughout his life with a teaching and research experience of over 25 long years. He is currently working as a Professor at the Department of English, Banaras Hindu University. His area of interest is Cultural Studies. His areas of research include Drama and Theatre in English literature. His Ph.D. thesis is titled “Existentialism in the plays of Samuel Beckett and Harold Pinter” and he has been supervising several M.Phil. and Ph.D. scholars. One M.Phil. and ten Ph.D. degrees have already been awarded under his guidance. Presently, six scholars are pursuing their Ph.D. under him. On the academic front, he has been associated with the revision and drafting of UG & PG syllabi at the University level. He has a long and outstanding association in several National and International seminars and conferences and has been actively presenting his research papers in more than three occasions. Also, he has graced several seminars as key-note speaker and has chaired ten sessions. He has also been invited at various lecture series in several outstation universities and institutions. He has a long list of publications in various peer-reviewed journals of repute and has also actively contributed his chapters in various books. On the administrative front, he has been handling various administrative duties at the Departments/Faculty at the University level. He has had an administrative experience of eight years as Warden, Birla Hostel A (2001-2005) and as Warden, Birla Hostel C (2005-2009). He has been the Review Editor of Anvikshiki (A bi-monthly International Journal, ISSN 0973-9777 with impact factor 0.231, Varanasi). He is a Member in the Editorial Board, University Journal of BHU, Prajna, ISSN 0554-9884 (2016- ). He is a Member, Editorial Board, Dept. of English Journal, Research and Criticism (2013-2014, 2016-2018). He is also a Member, Editorial Advisory Board, Indian Journal of English Studies (2012-2017). Additionally, he also serves as an Executive Member (North Zone) at Association for English Studies in India (2012-2018). As the honourable Chairperson at The Ad Litteram Journal, he has been instrumental in all the editions of the journal by playing a key role in the success and quality maintenance of The Ad Litteram Journal, an emblem of repute and quality in the academic spheres.

Dr. Praveen Kumar Anshuman

Dr. Praveen Kumar Anshuman is an academician, writer, critic, editor, poet (Kavi-Hridaya), Shayar (Bavalaa), YouTuber etc. He is a Ph.D. from the esteemed Banaras Hindu University. At present, he is Associate Professor of English at Kirori Mal College (North Campus), University of Delhi. His areas of interests include Hindi, English and Sanskrit Language & Literature in general, and Bhartiya Knowledge Tradition, Dalit Studies and Osho Literature in particular. Recently, he published his first creative book "Shabda-Samvaada" which was tweeted by Shri Amitabh Bachchan on 10th December 2021. His book "D3 & T3 of The Mahābhārata" is a monumental work which dismantled the deconstructed versions of the great epic done in the modern times. Including these volumes, he has totally published thirteen books till date. Besides, he occasionally gives talk from All India Radio, Akaashvaani, New Delhi and is connected with Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla through Research Associateship. He is very active person on all social media platforms. He is regularly invited for his Kavya-Paatha at both online and offline platforms. In the last one and half years, he has written more than 18,000 Shayari-s (Baavali-s) and 2,500 poems in Hindi. His recent publications are - 'Main Kavi-Hriday Hoon, Kavi Nahin' and 'Shabda-Darshana". He has been honoured as the Best Professor of the Year 2022 by Indian Shiksha Awards, the Best Illustrator Award 2022 by Ukiyoto, One of the Best 100 Writers of 2022 by #Kalakar. His name has been included in the World Record for having written maximum shayaris in a day, in a month and in a span of two years. Besides, he also holds the World Record of having written 100 poems in a day. Writing is his passion and this is what he is engaged in at present.

Dr. Yogeshwar Dwivedi

Dr. Yogeshwar Dwivedi holds Ph.D. and M.Phil. in English Literature from Pondicherry Central University. He has completed his M.A in English from Banaras Hindu University (Varanasi) and PGCTE from The English & Foreign Language University (Hyderabad). He has worked as Assistant Professor of English at GLA University Mathura UP for more than five years. He has published many research papers/articles in renowned National and International journals. At present, he is working as Professor-in-Charge, Government Engineering College West Champaran, Bihar.

Dr. Divyajyoti Singh

Dr. Divyajyoti Singh is an alumnus of Miranda House, University of Delhi. She earned her B.A. Hons. in English in the year 2000, M.A. in the year 2002 and M.Phil. in the year 2004 from the University of Delhi. She was awarded a Ph.D. degree in English by Ambedkar University in the year 2011. She has been teaching English at the J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, Faridabad (earlier YMCA University of Science and Technology) for the last 15 years. She qualified NET in 2003. Her previous teaching experience includes teaching literature at Kamla Nehru College and Sri Aurobindo College, University of Delhi and Aggarwal PG College, Ballabgarh. Her book The Forgotten Ram: Lore and Legend of Sir Chhotu Ram published in 2015, a quasi-fictional biography on great peasant leader of pre- partition Punjab, is acknowledged as a significant literary work. She is a co-author of the book Haryana Post-Truth: Safe Sanctuary to Sorry State (2019). Her sundry articles and interviews have been published in national dailies, namely, The Tribune (2013) and Dainik Jagran (2016, 2017) respectively. A paper on ‘Violence against Women in Northern India’, she co-authored with scholars from Texas (A&M) University US, was published online in a special issue of International Journal of Comparative and Applied Criminal Justice (Taylor and Francis. 2016). Another paper in subaltern studies related to Native American Writing has been published recently in The Explicator (2021) published by Taylor and Francis Online. Apart from numerous articles and research papers relating to issues of marginality, resistance and alternative perspectives, her papers with her research scholars have also featured in Rupkatha Journal on International Studies in Humanities indexed by Web of Sciences and SCOPUS. She played a pioneering role in introducing courses in literature, media and social works in her university. She has contributed to incorporation of thrilling electives like Graphic Novel Writing and Visual Arts in Europe in UG/PG programmes of Faculty of Liberal Arts and Media Studies, JC BUST oriented towards humanities as well as professional development. Her aim is to help her students visualize future technology in consonance with social concerns.

Mr. Lalit Kumar

Mr. Lalit Kumar is currently pursuing his PhD in the Department of English at the esteemed University of Delhi. His research expertise lies at the intersection of the First World War and Punjabi Folk literature, a unique blend that illuminates the rich tapestry of historical and cultural narratives. He has earned his M. Phil. from the Department of English, University of Delhi, where he delved deeply into the fascinating realm of Victorian Women Writers in Colonial India. With an illustrious academic background, he strives to bring knowledge and insight to his role as an Assistant Professor at Satyawati College (Evening). His pedagogical approach is informed by a passion for Indian Literature, as well as a keen focus on War and Memory Studies, offering students a dynamic perspective on these crucial subjects. Beyond the classroom, Lalit's intellectual curiosity extends to the realm of Travel Writings, further enriching his diverse areas of expertise.

Dr. Shivnath Kumar Sharma

Dr. Shivnath Kumar Sharma is an Assistant Professor & Head, Department of English, Govt. College Khilchipur, Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh. Currently, he teaches English literature and language. His Ph.D. is on the verge of completion from Department of English, Pondicherry Central University. He was a Visiting Scholar at York University, Canada. He has published a dozen of research papers in the national and international journals of repute. He has presented a dozen of papers at the national and international conferences across India. Apart from this, he is interested in translation from Hindi into English and vice-versa. His areas of interest include Indian English Literature, British Literature, Translation Studies, Postcolonial Studies and Diaspora Studies.
